E-mail From my Father to my Mother:(Yes I check her mail, and have permission!)
Subject:Frustrations and Disappointments
Dear Nancy,
What a day. The train ran very late getting into Penn
Station this afternoon. I was hoping to be at Volt with
35-45 minutes to spare. Instead only made it with about
20 minutes in hand. I had planned on a long interview.
Yesterday I wrote up three pages of notes on their
problems, managed services in general, and how I would
attack their current difficulties.
The gentleman I interviewed with seemed very busy and
distracted and I only wound up with about 15 minutes of
his time. Oh well.
Once I got back to Penn Station I realized that as today
is the first of the month legions of monthly ticket
holders needed new ones to get back home. I had not yet
bought my return ticket. There must have been something
on the order of about 750 people lined up at the ticket
machines. Thus I went and got a bite to eat (first food
of the day) and didn't get on a train until late.
Getting off at Denville my last disaster of the day
awaited me, the car would not start. It is still
there. Will have to call the folks that said they fixed
it and have them go recover it and fix it right this
time. What a day, what a day.
Oh, by the way, I got the job.
Love,
Don

Now how is that for an e-mail? I do think my dear Mum will have a heart attack when she begins to read it.
Now I'm even closer to that house in HS. So close, and not so far. I think I shall be watching Ewan tonight. I wish Forgotten was on! Leave me at a cliffhanger will ya! Jeez...
Anyone want to drive me to the mall? The woes of not having a license!
