I used to write some fanfiction. I used to be active in communities. Then I got sick of what is slowly happening to some fandoms. Fans have been divided by FLAME Wars, by differences in opinion. It's gotten to be ridiculous! People have split into groups. Some see themselves as being higher then others because they know more. I hate to say this but people need to realize that being involved in a fandom(s) should not be your whole life. Don't get me wrong, I suppose I'm just as guilty for that. I guess I mean that you shouldn't let fandom completely rule your life.
I suppose I made a Vampire Chronicles mimi-rant along these lines earlier. It should apply to all fandomness. Share the love people!
I would write a more official rant but I'm tired, hungry, and desperate to finish The Lioness Quartet books tonight! (Minus: Alanna, The First Adventure; It is currently in Jess' company) Daine (Immortal) books tommorow! No portfolio work this weekend! And the masses rejoiced.
Did I mention I plan on writing a Bible-slash fic? Tasteful people. I'm going to enjoy this.
