Going to go see Underworld with Martine later. We're meeting at 4:45 at AMC, so if anyone wants to go, you're invited.

Went to Amy's 16th b-day. Saw everyone I like to see. Played wicked croquet, played backgammon with Brian Waller, played Apples to Apples, and tehn escaped outside following Jessi and Jenny to play checkers.

All in all it wasn't that great of a party, since everyone went into their little cliques and talked about people from school. So I was pretty alone. Slept in a chair for about five minutes. The food was good. I was happy I got to see Amy which is the point and I know that we'll just have to keep meeting again because I have a book of hers and she has one of mine.

Both of which we both can't find. Hehe.

I really want to bounce around with sparkly fairy wings. Kristin agrees.

Weariong eye makeup for the second day in a row! I do believe the world is ending.

Martine and I went to the 5:00 showing of Underworld. Damn I usually hate movies like Underworld but I must say I found myself liking it.

It's an action flick with an occult twist - and plenty of plot twists. I found myself hating characters and then loving them. The plot itself isn't too bad but they could have gone so many places with it but what they did with it wasn't that bad.

Mind you the whole reason I think I ended up liking the movie - Michael and the sexy black Walter guy aside - was all the rabid slash plot bunnies Martine and I came up with.

Final Verdict:
If you like Vampires and Werewolfs and action you'll like this flick.
If you hate sex scenes in movies and blatant romantic overtones in action flicks, you'll like this movie.

Homework time!

I had thought someone had mentioned that Interview with the Vampire was going to be made into a manga. Well it was. Nine years ago (ack, I feel old).
