rexe at 08:45pm on 21/09/2003Martine and I went to the 5:00 showing of Underworld. Damn I usually hate movies like Underworld but I must say I found myself liking it.
It's an action flick with an occult twist - and plenty of plot twists. I found myself hating characters and then loving them. The plot itself isn't too bad but they could have gone so many places with it but what they did with it wasn't that bad.
Mind you the whole reason I think I ended up liking the movie - Michael and the sexy black Walter guy aside - was all the rabid slash plot bunnies Martine and I came up with.
Final Verdict:
If you like Vampires and Werewolfs and action you'll like this flick.
If you hate sex scenes in movies and blatant romantic overtones in action flicks, you'll like this movie.
