rexe at 05:45pm on 13/08/2001Well I ended up going to Otakon!!!! Spiffy, ne?
Day Before:
10:15 PM: Father called and said he would take us.
HEART ATTACK!!!!!!! For crying out loud. Talk about not knowing at the last minute if you knew you were going. Well anyway, we were packed so I told Jess online that I was able yto go. Genki Jess-chan.
Then I decided to call Anna, and tell her we were going. I gave her a heart attack. Well I told her we would pick her up around 7 the next morning. Then I went to sleep.
Day 1:
Got up around 5:50 in the morning. :;yawn:: Way too early for my tatse. Well around 6:30 my dad came to pick us up. We piled our bags in the trunk and drove off to anna's. After picking up Anna, we were finally on our way!!! GENKI!!!
We stopped at the Maryland house. And then we were off again. We then arrived in Beautiful downtown Baltimore. Yaya. After getting into a parking garage, going down the doom steps, we had arrived at the Convention center. The Line for PreReg was so long!!! Thankfully the At-The_door Line was small. I got a Cowboy Bebop pass, my father got a differnt CB pass, Anna got a Outlaw Star, and my brother and sister both got Big O passes.
After meeting up with Jess and her sister. My family separated. Actually my brother wandered off, and I got stuck with my Chibi Otaku sister. Our group went to watch the Anime Music Videos. We came in at the end of the seconf episode of Da!Da!Da!. Very humorous.
Mermories Dance was amazing MV done to Mummers Dane with Studio Ghibi anime. I loved it! After the AMV we went...I can't remember. Well we went somewhere. All I remember was going to the Opening Ceremonies. Hikaru Midorikawa sang Rythym Emotion. Fangirls went wild! He also did his trademark voices. Heavnly....
Well we wnet to Dinner at Phillp's. A really nice seafoosd restuarnt down in the Inner Harbour. I love eating there! Well we went back the Con, for my brother and myslef to watch MAT3k. It was great. While we were waiting in line, my brother got into a conversation with some guys in front of us. One of them was extremly cute. After all was said in done. We went back to the hotel.
