I am not even going to touch on the amount of work I have or the ridiculousness of most of it.
So onwards to better things:
+I watched the new Sense and Sensibility via YouTube. Um...really, Andrew Davies? That was kinda crap. Long, overdrawn crap. There were some nice points. I appreciated the eye candy (though I prefer the eye candy from Mr. Davies Northanger Abbey because it makes more silly sense there). I really liked Elinor and Marianne. Marianne looked young! (I love Kate Winslet and I find no fault with her Marianne but this version's looked the age) David Morrisey was a respectable Col. Brandon. (Roomie - Thats Col. Rickman to you!) I liked him well enough. I loved David Williams as Sir John. Mark Gatiss as John Dashwood was great. I prefer this version's Edward Ferrars to Hugh Grant. I am finding more and more fault with FloppyHair!HughGrant. Bottom line: I want to watch in Hi-Res. Might watch again.
+I am re-reading Northanger Abbey. I forgot how awesomely funny it is.
+I just finished The Rest Falls Away by Colleen Gleason. Plot: Buffy-esque heroine in Regency in England. Verdict: I enjoyed it. It is a little too Buffy/Anita Blake at times. The heroine has yet to capture my attention as a really awesome character. On the other hand, the men in her life? Ooooh *fans self*. I like. I really like. I also found myself thinkig while reading this book, how nice it is to actually have vampires be evil. The romance market seems to be inundated with paranomal series all about good vampires. Okay, so there is more to it then that but sometimes that is what it feels like. I plan on getting the next book after I finish what I picked up from my library.
+Doctor Who: Fires of Pompeii. I loved it. This writer stays. He writes old school and I want more!
+I only picked up two comics today (seriously there is nothing this week and next week I really want). Robin was okay. I'm looking forward to see what happens when Batman R.I.P. comes out and the repercussions that would be seen in Robin. I picked up Wonder Woman from last week. I'm dropping it. I like bits of it but I could save money every month if I drop a few titles and get the trades instead.
+After watching the beginning of Secret Smile (before it gets really creepy) I have reaffirmed that someone kissing your inner wrist is a major turn on. Thank you David Tennant.
OKAY. Work! Then tomorrow I have piano (which I have major practicing to do). After 3:15 I am free till 6:00 then I am done for the week at 6:50. Excellent. Friday I will spend reading and catching up on mass amount of work.
To Read Pile before need to return books to school library on May 2:
Northanger Abbey (finish)
Batman: Death and the City HC (library has graphic novel? um awesome much?)
The Toughest Indian in the World
Persuasion (possibly, it is apart of the Northanger Abbey edition I checked out)
