I am off to work, but I have started reply to people's comments. I will catch up!

Work today and tomorrow 12-8. Off Friday. On Saturday 10-6. Of next week, I have no idea because the schedule is not posted yet.

My mood is bouncing all over the place. Need to cycle, meditate, and fill my body with good things.

Oh and for those who have one:

How to Green Your Sex Life

Um, vibrators can be pretty. Wants. No crazy nekkid people on the page so semi-work safe for being a page on a sex toy.

Off to work!

Work was long. Scheduled to work until 8. Did not get to leave until 8:44. WTF?! I'm a back-up cashier now. Thanks to my fave manager. One more day of work and then I am off for a day! They better put the schedule up by the time I leave tomorrow. I wish I could call out but considering how I am now a backup cashier and almost always the only associate on the floor for at least an hour, that would not be wise.

Lit Stuff:
I love Our Mutual Friend. Dickens is terribly amusing. AND EUGENE! I love Eugene (played by Paul McGann in adaptation).

'Then idiots talk,' said Eugene, leaning back, folding his arms, smoking with his eyes shut, and speaking slightly through his nose, 'of Energy. If there is a word in the dictionary under any letter from A to Z that I abominate, it is energy. It is such a conventional superstition, such parrot gabble! What the deuce! Am I to rush out into the street, collar the first man of a wealthy appearance that I meet, shake him, and say, "Go to law upon the spot, you dog, and retain me, or I'll be the death of you"? Yet that would be energy.'

'Precisely my view of the case, Eugene. But show me a good opportunity, show me something really worth being energetic about, and I'll show you energy.'

'And so will I,' said Eugene.

And it is likely enough that ten thousand other young men, within the limits of the London Post-office town delivery, made the same hopeful remark in the course of the same evening.

Eugene is really lazy. He is a barrister that does absolutely nothing. And his friend, Mortimer, is really gay for him. (At least in the Beeb adaptation.)

I am currently reading OMF on Project Gutenberg and I am waiting for my library to get it in as I requested it on Monday from another branch. I might break down and buy it.

I am so weak. It's late. I should sleep. I might go see Transformers tomorrow. I am so behind on movies. Damn job. Damn 12-8 mid-shift.

I have come to the conclusion that one useless man is called a disgrace; that two are called a law firm, and that three or more become a Congress! And by God, I have had this Congress! For ten years, King George and his Parliament have gulled, cullied, and diddled these colonies with their illegal taxes! Stamp Acts, Townshend Acts, Sugar Acts, Tea Acts! And when we dared stand up like men, they have stopped our trade, seized our ships, blockaded our ports, burned our towns, and spilled our BLOOD! And still, this Congress refuses to grant ANY of my proposals on independence, even so much as the courtesty of open debate! Good God, what in hell are you waiting for?
