geekfreak03 will be happy to know that I picked up Layer Cake - the book. Jere picked up Scrubs Season 1.
Got back to the room to find no roommate. Decided to clean up a bit before she arrived. Went out to dinner with my onii-san and then back to Borders for a second time. This time Jere picked up Smallville Season 1 and I picked up The Muppet's Christmas Carol on dvd. Yay, muppets + Michael Caine!
Once I got back, I went into super-cleaning mode. Roommate was still M.I.A. Called roomie's boyfriend and discovered that she was still home.
So send her love so that she feels much better and comes back.
Off to read more of The Golden Compass before bedtime.
