...and that I did.

Only after a verbal abusing by my Mum. Ah well. Spent her money that she doesn't have. Twas nice to see her concede on certain things. Especially when she let my 10-almost-11 sister go into the gas station/dunkin donuts (nice place, though) by herself. First time she ever let my sister do that. I commented on how I was doing stuff like that at that age. She got that whole sad nostalgic look and said how I was an older 10-almost-11. No shit, sherlock. All thanks to you. We made up by me getting out of the car (we were driving so I couldn't escape...><;;), and getting an iced latte from dunkin donuts.

So ze loot:
+New sexy timex watch - graduation prezzie
+white flip flops for graduation
+purty white shell anklet to wear to graduation
+pretty black/white/light gree dress from the Gap (never shop there but I've been dying to get a spring dress)
+alice in wonderland t-shirt that says 'We're All Mad Here'
+disney princesses mini fan

I haven't been able to buy anything in awhile so getting new stuff makes me happy.

Then sister and I watched Notting Hill (love Hugh Grant, hate Julia Roberts, <333333333 Rhys Ifans), then we watched The Breakfast Club. My little sister enjoyed it. She has graduated to watching almsot anything unless it has ultra-violence/perversity/fuckedup-ness. As in No Kill Bill but AmeliƩ is okay. Must make her watch The Full Monty. She'd love it.

I think one of the key things to remember about human beings is their optimism and their faith. For example, in America, you have a country filled from sea to shining sea with people in the food service industries all of them convinced that a person can somehow make a drinkable cup of tea using only a) a teabag and b) a cup and c) a container holding water that was once reasonably hot. They bring me these three ingredients proudly, convinced that somehow I'll be able to combine them in a way that will produce a drinkable cup of tea.

And in a credit to my own optimism and faith, I keep trying. Haven't succeeded yet, of course. But still. It makes you proud to be human.
- Neil Gaiman, "Optimism. Faith. English Breakfast."

And replied: how does one make a good cuppa?

That is why I make my tea in a teapot. Rawr. Sexy tea.

Made a failed attempt at going to see the Blue Angels at McGuire AFB. *sniff* Couldn't get in. Insanely crowded, no a/c in car, cars not moving = no planes for Steffie.

V. distressing.

Now I am make home in the nice freezing A/C and quite happy.

Working on my Senior Year fanmix. Any graduation song rec's? Anyone willing to make a cover since I don't have an image editor?

Not because you have to, but because you WANT to! Things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it to your journal, and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs.

-Watching movies
-Dancing like crazy in my room
-Going for a walk

Here it is. The first volume of Graduation Day. From The Smiths to The Ataris to Boston. Random music all related to HS and graduation. All files are YSI. So right click. If they are blocked, comment and I'll reup the file. Big zip file of the whole mix available, and individual files as well.

Enjoy, comment, etc...

Seriously people, DOWNLOAD. I worked several hours on this. So give it a chance?

Also rec' songs for Vol II and Vol III. If anyone is bored and wants to make a cover I wouldn't mind. ^___^
