rexe at 11:17am on 01/07/2004Sam's birthday wwas fun. Went to Hurricane Harbour then went to see Spiderman 2.
Zapp Comics was there selling stuff. Comics = $1.00 Trade Paperbacks = 50% off.
I got the hardcover Ulitmate Spiderman vol 2 (my brother bought the first one). My little sister bought three issues of Spiderman series. They also gave away free posters, and free spidey heroclixs. I love Zapp. They also had a dude dressed up as our favorite Spidey.
Full review of the movie later but for now I will say, it was excellent. Well-made, funny references (Dr Strange!), great superhero character study. Reminded me a lot of the comics that have been coming out in the past few years that are mainly a character study.
The opening was awesome by the way. James Franco and Tobey were hot and they were both extremely good.
I'm content and want to see it again. Anyone want to go later?
Off to Six Flags with my Mum. She's been off so she wants to get out.
She's also going to a Maternity nursing seminar at Disney in Florida at the end of September and beginning of October. She's flying myself, my little sister, her friend's daughter (her mum is going with my mum) down at the end of the seminar and we're going to hang out at disney for three days and then fly back. So I get to miss three days school. She wants us to have one good vacation despite our lack of funds. -.-;; But she's determined. I'm sure my Da will get a job soon.
