I finished 3 books in 5 days. I'm estatic. I haven't done that in epochs.

Started Wicked on monday, finished weds. I liked it. I just didn't LOVE it. Ah well. I'm glad I read it.

Started The Da Vinci Code after I finished Wicked. (quite literally). So that was started Wends, and finished last period of school on Thursday, in time for the book discussion group. The Discussion Group was so much fun. It was made up of teachers and students. We got refreshments. I got applause for finishing the book in less then two days. Quite random. We're going to meet again to discuss Angels and Demons.

Then once I got home I started The Fairy Godmother by Mercedes Lackey. It was cute. A fantasy book written in the style of a harliquin romance novel. I'm content.

I recommend reading all three books.

We started archery in school this week. I'm so happy. I have a nasty bruise from the string. Mea culpa.

AND - I'm getting my 4,2,3 poem but in the school yearbook. Which rocks.
Music:: silence or rather lack there of

"4,2,3" by Me ^^

While sitting on a bench, an old man came up to me
His breathing laboured, his voice hoarse
He asked me if I knew the meaning of life
Smirking I said 42
His coal black eyes widened in amusement
"Wrong, but you are thinking," he said
"The answer lies in 4,2,3. Remember that well."
Struggling he left; he left me, the bench, the park
Who needs the meaning of life? I am Young
Just beginning to live; I don't need to actually think about life

With each year I grew out of that philosophy
I began to search for an answer
I asked my family, my friends, my elders, my youngers, my peers, the rich, the poor, the sick, the healthy
No one gave me the true answer
I traveled the country, the continent, the world
I experienced life in search of the meaning of it.

My bones began to weaken; my vitality not what it used it be
I grew up; I grew older
The meaning of life didn't matter as much,
until I heard a riddle
In which Man was the answer
The answer to my riddle was found in the most famous riddle of all time

While walking in the park I saw a young man sitting on a bench
I asked him the meaning of life, he didn't know
"The answer lies in 4,2,3. Remember that well," I told him

The meaning of life is found purely in the act of living it.

I got The Queen's Fool by the lady who wrote The Other Boleyn Girl. It looks good so I'm happier. I also got the fourth volume of Basara. Another good thing.

Alas I wish life was full of good things. It's not and I hate to see others around me feel horrible. I want to help but I can't be of any help. Damn it. Stupid conundrums. *tears out hair* Too certain people out there: I know you aren't in it for the whole 'group thing'. But I'm here for you. We ALL are. If you ever need to let go, we're there. *hug*
