Today I actually planned on getting work done. Um, no, didn't happen. Got dragged out to Walmart and BJs in the afternoon. Walked to the Library earler.

A collection of short stories dealing with magic in Victorian England and the American West. Sounds really good, and interesting. Short Stories during school time= MUCH HAPPINESS!!!
Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier
A story surrounding the history of Vermeer's painting: Girl with a Pearl Earring. The movie is coming out soon so I thought I might as well pick it up and read it. Looks fairly short and should be a quick read.
Angels & Demons by Dan Brown
Takes place before The Da Vinci Code. I never read the latter but it is supposed to be excellent.
Portrait of a Killer, Jack the Ripper: Case Closed by Patricia Cornwell
I love Patricia Cornwell and now it seems she thinks she solved the Jack the Ripper case. This will defintely prove to be an interesting read.

Tonight I think I will drag my Dad out to get me a Russell Crowe movie. Either L.A. Confidential or The Insider.

Still reading Master and Commander. Still loving it. Found slashy subtext.

Life is good. Despite history paper which has yet been started.
