The good things in life
Okay, I'm good. School is almost over. I'm going to college. I know which one. I'm handing the deposit over Saturday. I'm seeing my school. I have almost completed four years of a catholic high school education. I'm seen hypocrisy in action. I've met accepting people and I've met ignorant people. I've had amazing teachers and I've had bad teachers. I've had teachers and staff (mainly attendence and discipline staff but still..) who know my name and worry about me. I have had a nurse this year who constantly yells at me for the lack of me eating and gives me crackers whenever I want them.
I have awesome friends. I have an awesome sister. I have a gamer brother who supplies with me anime and video games like a crack dealer.
I'm not going to die. I have not been sick as much as I used to. Spring is coming and getting outside makes me feel better.
I'm reading again. I might have a job. I might have a full-time job working at the Princeton Plasma Physics Labratory. My Aunt is in debt to me for helping her with stuff for my cosuins project. My granddad is not ashamed of me. My Nana bought me a beautiful dress for senior prom.
I'm most likely not paying for my ticket to junior prom because I'm going with a 'gentleman whose an eagle scout' (who also breaks out into a southern accent)
I have just learned that there is nothing like a VA boy and I'll be living in VA starting in August.
I have the coolest double major in the world: Historic Preservation/Classics: Classical Archeaology.
I'm going to Scotland to study old buildings one year in college.
Water is wonderful. Livejournal may have its drama but its a second home.
Doctor Who is back on television after many many years.
My geek heart is happy. I can sing several sea chanties. Newfie and British.
Just need to remind myself of these things once in awhile.
Glass half full or glass half-empty?
-Doesn't matter it gets drunk anyways. Good or bad, we end up at the same end.
